Care Instructions: Soaring Heart Shredded latex pillows can be washed and dried in heavy duty machines. Be sure to dry thoroughly (perhaps with several cycles). Wool and Kapok pillows can not be machine washed and should be hand cleaned with spot cleansers and thoroughly air dried, preferably outside in the sun.

What could be better than a 100% organic wool pillow made using only the purest organic wool? How about an organic wool pillow you can wash? Organic wool bolus—small pea-sized pellets of wool—is pre-felted, which means you can wash the whole pillow, not just the pillowcase. It is also incredibly malleable, forming to the shape of your head and allowing you to scrunch and shape it. These pillows are particularly great for back and stomach sleepers, but make great pillows for side sleepers too.
Since the Organic Wool Bolus Pillow can be washed, they make great pillows for children. Organic Wool Bolus Pillows are machine wash safe. Separate pillow and pillowcase and place in washing machine on cold, gentle cycle. Do not use bleach. Every few washes use a wool detergent to put the lanolin oil back into the wool to maintain its natural properties.
Tumble dry low with dryer balls to break up the wool and bring back original loft. If line dried, make sure to place in dryer, no heat, with dryer balls to break up the wool.

• Keep your mattress on a slatted crib frame off the ground. This provides proper ventilation, stopping moisture buildup.
• Flip your mattress monthly.
• Always use a mattress pad. The mattress pad protects the mattress from body moisture, spills and accidents. You can clean a mattress pad and a moisture barrier, but you can't clean a mattress. Please note that the cotton encasement of our mattress is a part of the mattress: it is not a removable cover, and should not be washed.

This 100% natural moisture barrier is created without fillers or additives, making this woven wool textile the perfect chemical-free solution for mattress and topper protection. The wool is tightly woven and slightly felted, resulting in a natural water repellent fabric that’s a healthy and eco-friendly alternative to synthetic products.
The moisture barrier is designed to lay atop your mattress or topper and beneath a fitted sheet.
Keep in mind that with each washing there is the potential for slight shrinkage. Wash only as needed. With both methods described below, it's important that you skip the wash cycle. That wash cycle creates agitation, which can result in felted or ruined wool bedding. For top-load washers use soak and spin cycles only. Do not use the wash cycle, which agitates and ruins your items. Manually set cycles to soak and spin. Do not allow the machine to enter the wash cycle. Fill the machine with warm water. Add a small amount of biodegradable detergent or wool wash. Place the item in the machine, gently pushing to absorb the water. Let it soak. Skip all wash cycles. The wash cycle is where agitation happens. Instead, manually set to spin. Centrifugal force will spin the water out. Leave the item in the machine, allow to refill with warm water and soak. Follow with a spin cycle. Repeat as needed. Do not machine dry. Drape your items in the sun or a warm place to dry. For front load washers use the gentlest, shortest, and lowest-soil settings. Do not use the wash cycle, which agitates and can ruin your items. For best results, wash with a full load. Place your items in the machine and fill with warm water. Add a small amount of biodegradable detergent or wool wash to the dispenser. Let it soak. Skip all wash cycles. The wash cycle is where agitation happens. Instead, manually set to spin. Centrifugal force will spin the water out. Soak and spin. Leave the item in the machine and allow to refill with warm water and soak. Follow with a spin cycle. Repeat as needed. Do not machine dry.
