What could be better than a 100% organic wool pillow made using only the purest organic wool? How about an organic wool pillow you can wash? Organic wool bolus—small pea-sized pellets of wool— makes this pillow incredibly unique. It is incredibly malleable, forming to the shape of your head and allowing you to scrunch and shape it. These pillows are particularly great for back and stomach sleepers, but make great pillows for side sleepers too. Plus with the zipper on the side, we've made this pillow completely customizable to your preference.
Since the Organic Wool Bolus Pillow can be washed, they make great pillows for children. Accidents, spills, spit-up, all can be washed away and your child still gets the wonderful benefits of organic wool. To accommodate our smaller patrons, we made a Travel/Kids sized pillow perfect for little heads.
And as the size suggests, they also are fantastic traveling pillows. They're small enough to be thrown in a carry-on bag or pulled out for the plane ride and because you can wash them, you don't need to worry about whatever may be encountered along your travels.

To prevent body moisture from getting into your bed (which can prematurely compress and harden the natural fibers and make your bed lumpy and uncomfortable), always sleep with one of our all natural organic cotton pads . Don't use a poly-blend pad. They aren't absorbent and can cause you to perspire more during sleep. Wash and dry your natural mattress pad with your sheets. Make sure the pad is completely dry before putting it back on your bed, and your mattress will stay clean and healthy for years to come.
Mattress toppers are designed to be fluffy and soft and therefore are susceptible to compression. Flip your mattress topper every other week (whenever you change your sheets) for long lasting comfort.
A couple times a year, on a sunny day, put your futon, shikibuton, or topper outside in the sun for an hour or two on each side. It's like giving your bed a natural dry-cleaning. The sun fluffs and revitalizes the fibers, discourages microbial growth, and evaporates any residual moisture. Does not apply to latex - latex can be deteriorated by sunlight.
Even if you lovingly follow all the steps listed above, there may come a day when your natural bed doesn't feel quite as comfortable as it originally did. In that case, feel free to click the button below to send us information about your product so we can schedule a revitalization time. Often times, all that's necessary to bring new life to your faithful futon is a few new layers of cotton or wool, and that can cost significantly less than a new bed. We do need to see it in person so we can assess what needs to be done, but once we figure it out we can usually finish the revitalization that same day.
For customers outside the Seattle Area who want to ship the item for revitalization services, simply put the item in a box, pay for shipping to our Seattle location and we will pay the shipping to return your revitalized item to you .

Organic Wool Pillows, both soft and firm, cannot be washed. Please use a pillowcase to keep your pillow clean. In case of an accident, use a spray bottle of rubbing alcohol to spot clean the pillow. Air dry outside, preferably on a sunny day (sunlight acts as a natural dry clean for wool).

Our handmade yoga bolster inserts are encased in untreated organic cotton canvas, tightly packed with 100% organic cotton fill, and they're firm, firm, firm. Our natural bolsters are great for resting your elbows on when sitting on the sofa, wonderful for providing excellent lumbar support when sitting up in bed, and are a easy way to add a little natural decor to your room without breaking the bank. Some folks even like to use them without a decorative cover, but we recommend getting removable covers that you can wash, just in case.
When we say all natural and organic, we mean it. Since 1982 Soaring Heart Natural Bed Company has been making mattresses and bedding using time-tested techniques, honed and polished over three decades. Soaring Heart makes everything by hand and uses only the highest quality, certified organic, materials available.

The average pillow takes a one-size-fits-all approach to comfort. But most of us have pretty specific support and comfort needs based on our build, sleep position and preferences. One size can’t possibly fit all. The common pillow just doesn’t get the job done.
The O2 Pillow is designed to tackle common pillow problems by offering personalized fit and reliable support.
It’s available in a range of sizes—you get the height and firmness that’s right for you.
Its unique tri-layer construction provides stable positioning and elevation.
Made from eco-certified latex foam and luxurious knit cotton, it’s durable and feels great.
Be sure to protect your pillow from dust, stains, and other containment's with a Soaring Heart 100% Organic Cotton pillowcase.

For people who sleep on their sides; hip, shoulder, and neck pain can be commonplace. When you sleep on your side the most important thing is to keep you spine, hips, and neck in proper alignment, the "neutral position." The mattress you are sleeping on is a major factor, contouring and molding to the curves of your body, supporting you and keeping the spine in the neutral position. What your mattress cannot do is keep your hips and shoulders open. Gravity causes the upper leg and arm to collapse or sag, which creates strain on the hips and shoulders.
Body pillows stop your shoulders and hips from collapsing, by providing support for the upper arm and leg, keeping them properly elevated in their natural position, the same upright position they would be in if you were laying on your back. Hug the body pillow and throw your leg over it, this lets the body pillow hold up your limbs, allowing your muscles to fully relax and taking the stress off the joints.
All of our body pillows come with one 100% organic cotton sateen pillowcase in addition to zippered organic cotton encasement.
Our Premium Body Pillows are available in two sizes, large and small. Large body pillows measure 14" x 68" inches and weigh 5 lbs and small body pillows measure 14" x 48" inches and weigh 3-3.5 lbs.
Soaring Heart's body pillows only use Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified 100% organic wool batting. Wool is not only healthier than polyfills, but it is also springier and longer lasting, giving you a comfortable and plush pillow for many years.
Ka-what? Kapok! For those who like the classic feel of down with its cloud-like fluff, but with the resilience of wool, we have natural and botanical kapok. Kapok is the silky fiber that surrounds the seeds of the kapok tree, found in the tropical forests of the south Pacific (ours is harvested in the Philippines). Natural kapok is one of the only sustainable resources coming out of the rainforest. Harvesting the kapok fiber doesn't hurt the trees and the farmers then spread the seeds to get more later - helping the forest and the ecosystem.

The support of a quality body pillow is essential for times of skeletal stress, like that experienced by women during pregnancy. Achieving and maintaining a neutral spine position is important to counterbalancing the increasing weight of baby. By the end of the second trimester, the pelvis, pubic bone and tailbone form the anterior tilt that will accommodate baby’s growth -and create discomfort for mom!
These skeletal misalignments are counterbalanced by muscular groups that, by day, work hard to correct the imbalance and create good posture. At night, when restorative sleep is crucial, our body pillows allow these taxed muscles to truly relax by supporting the weight of the baby and creating the optimal resting spine position for mom.
Do not attempt to wash any pillows that are made with cotton batting or wool batting. They may be gently spot cleaned with water and mild detergent if necessary, but don't try to remove them or put them in the washing machine.
The only pillows that can be washed are the ones only containing wool bolus and shredded latex.
Be sure to protect your pillow from dust, stains, and other containment's with a Soaring Heart 100% Organic Cotton pillowcase.

The Side Dreamer Pillow has been specially designed for--you guessed it!-- side sleepers. When you sleep on your side two things happen: one, your head sinks down which makes your neck bend; and two, your shoulders collapse. Thus, side sleepers often suffer from neck and shoulder pain due to strain. Here’s why:
Sleeping on your side puts a lot of pressure on your lower shoulder, while your upper shoulder is left unsupported, which makes it sag. This sagging, or collapsing, causes stress on the joints and muscles, leading to sore and strained shoulders in the morning.
As for your neck, when the pillow you sleep with isn't lofty enough to fill the space between your head the mattress, or supportive enough to keep it properly elevated, the weight of your head will pull the neck out of alignment. This creates neck pain and can even lead to snoring, headaches, and pinched nerves.
The Side Dreamer Pillow's boomerang shape addresses both of these fundamental issues. Firm and lofty, it will keep your head properly elevated, opening the airways, and supporting the neck in good spinal alignment. Place you head on one section of the arch, while hugging the other. The pillow will prop up your arm as well as your head, reducing not only neck strain, but shoulder sag.
Side Dreamer Pillows are 22" long on each side of the pillow by 14" wide at the ends and 13" in the middle. All Side Dreamer Pillows come with a custom shaped pillow case to match.
Note: All pillow sales are final. Please allow a 1-2 week lead time.

What could be better than a 100% organic wool pillow made with only the purest wool from small farms along the California and Oregon coasts? How about an organic wool pillow you can wash? Organic wool bolus—small pea-sized pellets of wool—is pre-felted, which means you can wash the whole pillow, not just the pillowcase. It is also incredibly malleable, conforming to the shape of your head and allowing you to scrunch and shape it.
Organic Shredded Latex has become a favorite and one of our top sellers. One of the advantages of a latex pillow is that it will never change its shape. However, to people who like to fluff and mold their pillows, the ergonomic and natural latex pillows leave them wanting. Organic Shredded Latex is the best of both worlds: shredding our wonderful 100% GOLS certified Dunlop latex (the same latex used in our Signature Mattresses) gives customers the perfectly scrunch-able, malleable pillow they want with all the lasting hypo-allergenic, moisture- and mildew-resistant benefits of latex. Good deal, eh?
Ka-what? Kapok! For those who like the classic feel of down with its cloudlike fluff, but with the resilience of wool, we have 100% organic and botanical kapok. Kapok is the silky fiber that surrounds the seeds of the kapok tree, found in the tropical forests of the south Pacific (ours is harvested in the Philippines). Organic kapok is one of the only sustainable resources coming out of the rainforest. Harvesting the kapok fiber doesn't hurt the trees and the farmers then spread the seeds to get more later - helping the forest and the ecosystem.

Clearance items are sold "as is" and are nonreturnable and nonrefundable. These almost-perfect items have all the same comfort and luxury our products are known for, but don't quite measure up to our exacting standards. All are made with the same high-quality materials and superior handcrafting you expect from us. What makes an item a clearance item? In the majority of cases, it’s what we refer to as a “small fabric defect” - a slight imperfection in the weave or speck of discoloration or other mark that found its way on to the fabric. Barely noticeable, and with no effect on usability, comfort, or durability. We’re picky, so what we catch during production may not even be noticeable to you. Once inside a duvet cover or pillow case, no one will know that bedding you’re getting a great deal on is anything less than perfect.
When we say all natural and organic, we mean it. Since 1982 Soaring Heart Natural Bed Company has been making mattresses and bedding using time-tested techniques, honed and polished over three decades. Soaring Heart makes everything by hand and uses only the highest quality, certified organic, materials available.
Soaring Heart works closely with our suppliers. We travel to their operations, getting to know them and their materials. We collaborate with our suppliers so we can meet and exceed our exacting standards. We take huge pride in our products and in all the people behind them.
It's because of these special relationships with our suppliers and their wonderful organic wool, organic latex, organic cotton and their commitment to upholding organic certifications that we aren’t forced to spoil our products with chemicals or synthetics. No Soaring Heart product has any chemical-based foam or synthetic fire retardants whatsoever.
Our latex is made from pure rubber tree sap, we use organic wool as our fire barrier and it is selected from only the finest sheep farms in New Zealand, and our Cotton is 100% organically grown in the cotton fields of Texas. Nothing but good, honest organic materials provided by good, honest people.
The wool and cotton encasements in this product are GOTS certified.
