Soaring Heart is dedicated to sustainable products and a cradle-to-cradle approach to product design. This is why for over 30 years, we've offered revitalization services to customers that have purchased our futons, shikibutons, and toppers. By swapping out the compressed cotton and wool with new organic cotton and organic wool, we can add years to the life of your bed, while also keeping it from the landfill.
Generally, a Revitalization is a scheduled service and costs about 1/3 of the current product price. This service is only available locally in Washington State. Cost is determined by how much new material is needed and how long it takes to complete. The cost of materials varies and is charged by the layer, and labor is a $99 flat fee. The cotton and wool batting is priced in layers, by bed size. If you are unable to physically bring your product to the warehouse, please contact us so we may find a solution that is suitable to your needs.
Due to our Organic Certifications and cleanliness regulations, we are not able to revitalize all futons, shikibutons, or toppers. Below is a list of situations in which we would not be able to rebuild your futon, shikibuton, or topper:
