Well, not that far east, about 10 miles. However; as residents of King County know, that short trip across beautiful lake Washington can certainly feel transcontinental.
In celebration of MLK Day, Soaring Heart joined with a team of volunteers from our local El Centro de la Raza to build 125 bed pillows in support of El Centro’s community services. Needless to say we had a blast.

Last week we had the privilege of volunteering at KCTS9's annual pledge drive. Coffees in hand, we turned a deaf ear to the siren song of our mattresses and stayed up past our bedtime to take calls in support or our local public television channel.
