Giving Back With Heart!

In celebration of MLK Day, Soaring Heart joined with a team of volunteers from our local El Centro de la Raza to build 125 bed pillows in support of El Centro’s community services. Needless to say we had a blast.

Each pillow was accompanied by a handwritten note of appreciation to participants in El Centro’s senior programs. Our volunteers also broke a long standing speed record – building all 125 pillows in less than an hour.  (Clearly we recruited some outstanding volunteers!)

Soaring Heart believes we all sleep better knowing we are part of healthy, caring communities. Every quarter we work to find a worthy organization in need of our handcrafted, all organic bedding to support their community services. If you’d like to nominate someone to be considered for an upcoming event – or want to volunteer to join us as a pillow builder – comment below, let us know on our Facebook or Twitter page, or just email mike@soaringheart.com.
