Kids, Pillows & Starbucks....

by Michael Schaefer April 29, 2014

What a blast!  With a team of volunteers from Navos and Starbucks we built and delivered 80 of our all organic, shredded latex pillows to the kids at the Seattle Children's Home and Burien's Ruth Dykeman Children's Center.  Founded in 1884 the Seattle Children's Home is now part of King County's Navos Mental Health Services group.   In an astounding 55 minutes our volunteers built pillows, wrote gift cards and packaged all our pillows for delivery. (Maybe the caffeine helped our efficiency?)

Our kudos to the staff at Navos for all the great work they do to support so many kids in transition treatment.  At Soaring Heart we believe we all sleep better knowing we are part of healthy, caring communities.  By providing the kids at Navos a brand new pillow we hope everyone on these kids' care teams will feel their hearts soar!  Sleep well.
