Soaring Heart, Sustainability & Global Community

by Michael Schaefer November 30, 2011

We had the good fortune to be visited by 30 enthusiastic Japanese undergraduates as part of a University Washington program on sustainability. They toured our showroom, (clearly enjoying our cozy bedding), visited our production facility and asked all sorts of great questions on how to run a sustainable, environmentally conscious business.    Regardless of our language barriers, great sleep is truly a bond we all share.  They loved how our tatami mats snuggle neatly in western bed frames and clearly related to the warmth of our full range of toppers and shikibutons.  Stay tuned...each of them has to write a 100 word essay about their visit, we'll be sure to share their insights!
