We love our "Green Business" Recognition

by Michael Schaefer February 22, 2018

Thank you Greater Seattle Business Association for nominating Soaring Heart for the "Green/Sustainable Business of the Year."  We had quite a fun night out celebrating with hundreds of other Seattle area businesses last week - and while the grand prize winner was the Fremont Brewery, we were certainly in great company!  (Great beer - great beds -- what else could you want Seattle to be known for? Hmmm.....)

We also want to thank our local Carter Suburu dealership for both sponsoring and creating this new award category.  As you might expect it takes some work to be a sustainable business.  Not alot of companies look at the total life cycle costs of their products, their waste streams and the fair trade practices of all their suppliers.  We relish these tasks - and encourage all businesses to take the steps needed to fully understand the impact of their products on our planet's health.

Meanwhile - we will do our best to be nominated again next year!
