Certified Organic Wool Comforter

Designed and handcrafted for comfort, warmth and coziness, our certified organic quilted comforters are made from GOTS-certified wool encased in GOTS-certified organic cotton sateen. Hand-tufted and stitched around the perimeter so the wool batting stays in place. Now with corner ties for securing into your duvet cover. These comforters naturally regulate body temperature, ensuring a restful sleep in any season. We offer three basic weights:

Light - Our lightest weight option. Well-suited for those living in warm climates or who naturally run warm in body temperature.

Perfect - Our most popular weight, a great all-purpose choice. You can add a blanket in the cooler months as needed.

Extra - For those whose body temperature tends to run cool or who live in a cold climate. If you traditionally sleep with a lot of covers, this is the option for you.

How to Choose a Comforter. Still not sure? Our sample and sensitivity kits can help you make an informed choice.

This product ships in a sturdy cardboard box secured with paper tape. We don't use plastic wrap or synthetic packing materials in the box. If you'd like a little extra protection, you can request your product be placed inside a biodegradable bag before boxing.

Sunning your comforter periodically will keep it refreshed and revitalize the wool. Spot clean as needed. Treat stains by soaking area with hydrogen peroxide (note, this may cause lightening of fabric). Can be machined washed in cold water. Manually set to soak and spin cycles only. Do not use the wash cycle, which agitates and can ruin your comforter. For stained items, add a dose of live cultured enzymes (such as Bac-Out by Biokleen) during soak. Drape in the sun or warm place to dry. Do not wring or machine dry. Our comforter care video will guide you through a few simple steps that will keep your wool bedding feeling soft and cozy for years to come. Place in a washable duvet cover for extra protection.

The scent of wool - Our wool, both natural and organic, is cleaned and processed naturally without the use of harsh chemicals. That's why you may notice the mild sweet scent of sunny farm pastures when you receive your new wool product. The wool retains 1% of the naturally occurring lanolin oil, which helps condition the fibers and keep them fluffy and soft for years to come. Most customers find the scent dissipates within a few days.

Clean and Cozy

I bought this comforter for our home in the mountains. We went with the lighter weight, which is perfect during our warm summer months. We may or may not add another blanket for the winter months. The weight is perfect- airy and light. We are very pleased!

Perfect Comforter

I bought the heavy and light weights for the appropriate season. When cold, I heat up quickly and these keep me warm without overheating.

The comforter is great and that you sent it in plastic-free shipping made it even better.

Wool Comforter

Love this comforter! Keeps my son nice and warm, but never sweating (which was a problem with his previous bedding). I also love the easy maintenance, I just hang it out in the sun when the weather is nice. We have had it over a year now, and it still feels great. Buying another one for my daughter soon.
