Soaring Heart Volunteers at KCTS9

Last week we had the privilege of volunteering at KCTS9's annual pledge drive. Coffees in hand, we turned a deaf ear to the siren song of our mattresses and stayed up past our bedtime to take calls in support or our local public television channel. We offered them our time and expert phone answering skills and they gave us free food, cake, coffee, and lot of fun. We think it was a pretty fair trade... actually, we made out pretty well.

We met a lot of really interesting people, had a wonderful time, and are so happy to have been able to take this opportunity to give back.
