This weekend, for every group that visits our showroom in Fremont and tests a bed, we will donate a brand new handcrafted pillow to the Fisher House - an organization that provides accommodations for families of veterans being treated for injuries.
Why? well, every store does a sale on Memorial Day weekend, and there isn't anything wrong with that. But we wanted to change it up a bit: Honor the spirit of the day, and do something good for veterans and their families.
So we are going to be building a pile--a pile of pillows--right by the door. Every group that comes in to get a quote on a mattress will also be given one of our latex pillows to add to the growing collection--and we do want to see it grow, rise and keep going, get fatter and wider, hit the ceiling and fall over.
It may seem like a small thing, a pillow, a place to lay your head and rest, but small things are important; they mean a lot. For the families of the injured veterans being treated at Fisher House, a bit of comfort can make a huge difference. The House is dedicated to providing that comfort ,and we are honored to help their effort the best way a bedding company can.
