Improve Your Sleep with Kapok Pillows

by Michael Schaefer September 03, 2011

Kapok is a very fine fiber derived from the seed pods of the Kapok, or “Ceiba” tree. The Kapok tree grows upwards of 200 feet, towering over rainforest canopies and the trees do not need to be cut down to obtain the fiber.

At Soaring Heart we have found that Kapok makes an amazing pillow fill!  Kapok pillows offer a unique, soft feel that resembles a combination of down and wool. We sew the organic cotton case and fill the kapok pillows ourselves, so it can be modified for comfort if needed. A kapok pillow would be the perfect addition to your organic mattress or futon.

Soaring Heart Natural Bed Company is the best source for providing you with products that will ensure a more natural sleep environment. The quality of sleep you experience is a big factor in your overall health and quality of life. Our expert staff at Soaring Heart in Seattle is passionate about helping you find the perfect natural bed, mattress pad or pillows for your home! Contact us at 202-282-1717 or 877-288-1717 for more information or explore our website for our complete line of products.
