Feeling

Feeling "normal" in not-so-normal times!

by Mike Schaefer December 07, 2020

We all know it - this year's holidays are clearly not going to be normal.  But kudos to Washington State University for their insightful survey about the upcoming holiday shopping season.  For a quick read see the link below - but a couple high level conclusions include:

1) Shopping helps people feel normal in today's not-so-normal world.

2) Shoppers feel safer when masks are worn and employees openly discuss (and enforce) safety protocols.

3) People want to support their local businesses (thank-you very much!)

4) Nobody wants to be part of Black Friday crowds - and are even trying to plan ahead to avoid Cyber Monday online crowds.

At Soaring Heart we want to wish everyone a safe, joyous holiday shopping season. Whether you visit us online or in person, you can rest assured that we are doing our very best to protect all our employees and customers during these difficult times.  As always we will be decorating our stores and windows for the holidays in hopes of spreading the joys of great sleep far and wide.
