Our Customer Safety Promise

 Whew - have we been busy entirely revamping our shopping experience to protect the health and safety of our employees and customers!  We expect the "new normal" to be here for the long run and we love all the input we've been getting as we do our part to redesign mattress shopping for the future.

 

 

First - the easy changes: Face masks.  We have already sold hundreds of our organic, washable masks.  We've learned a lot about sizing (S-M-L really doesn't mean much if you've never bought a mask before!)  Everyone visiting our stores will need a mask, and yes, you can buy one online or during your visit.  

Second: Social Distancing - we have arrows on the floor, signs on the door and limits to the number of people in our stores.  Right now, the maximum we are comfortable with is 2 couples, or 4 people - so please call ahead to schedule an appointment. You will love the personal attention that an appointment guarantees you.

Third: Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning.  Our stores have been thoroughly cleaned during our quarantine period.  In truth, we've even re-coated our floors with new non VOC varnish so that they sparkle!  Our team cleans all hard surfaces constantly and is required to sanitize with a 3% Hydrogen Peroxide spray between customers.

Fourth:  Luxurious Flannel Robes - yes, we now provide you with your own robe to wear during your shopping experience (and trust me - if we could figure out how to heat it for you, we would do that too).  We wash robes after every use - or we will even sell it to you if you can't bear to take it off when you're done shopping. 

Our shopping process will continue to evolve as we all learn more about ways to stop the spread of COVID-19.  We want to do our part - and we relish all the input we are receiving from customers on the little things you are seeing out there that make social distancing and in person shopping feel safe - and fun!  Drop us a note with your thoughts.

Starting Friday, July 30th, we request that everyone entering our shops wear a mask, based on the directive of King County and Snohomish Health Department.  All Soaring Heart team members will be required to wear masks as well.

Climate change, global warming, ocean acidification, wildlife depletion - the list of environmental challenges we are facing today is seemingly endless.  Endless and complicated - there are no "one-size fits all" solutions to problems that are clearly going to be with us for generations to come.

One thing we do know is that each of us, in our own ways, can make a difference.  We can, as the saying goes "leave our campsite better than we found it." If COVID 19 has proven anything to us over the past year, it is that we are all more connected and more dependent on each other than ever before.

At Soaring Heart one of our biggest environmental commitments is our annual GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and GOLS (Global Organic Latex Standard) compliance certification.
