As the year closes all of us at Soaring Heart want to express our gratitude to you, our customers and supporters of the sustainable, organic lifestyle our brand represents. These last few years have been a wild ride for all of us - and it is clear our "new normal" is still evolving. The good news is we are continuing to grow our staff, expand our stores, add new products and nurture the supply chain relationships that we've built over the past decades. This means we can be confident in our ability to provide the great sleep products we have learned to craft with excellence.

Celebrating Earth Month 2021
Climate change, global warming, ocean acidification, wildlife depletion - the list of environmental challenges we are facing today is seemingly endless. Endless and complicated - there are no "one-size fits all" solutions to problems that are clearly going to be with us for generations to come.
One thing we do know is that each of us, in our own ways, can make a difference. We can, as the saying goes "leave our campsite better than we found it." If COVID 19 has proven anything to us over the past year, it is that we are all more connected and more dependent on each other than ever before.
At Soaring Heart one of our biggest environmental commitments is our annual GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and GOLS (Global Organic Latex Standard) compliance certification.
How has COVID-19 affected our sleep?
Covid-19 has taken the world in different tides and has taken its toll on everyone. From medical professionals, to businesses, students and employees – even when you aren’t infected with the virus, the pandemic has affected everyone’s daily lives. This global medical concern has changed a lot of our basic necessities including going out, eating, and sleeping.

Thank you for your support of organic fibers! As demand for certified organic products grow, every part of our industry is learning to pay attention - and learning how to make better products.
At Soaring Heart we use organic cotton products in two ways: (1) in the certified organic fabrics that we buy and sew into our beautiful mattress, topper and pillow encasements, and (2) in the organic cotton batting that we blend for use as pillow and mattress fills.
What is a Shikibuton Anyway?
One of our most popular product lines is our traditional, all-organic shikibuton. It's also the product that we receive the most questions about. Something like this: "so, what is a shikibuton?" or "what's the difference between a shikibuton and a futon?" Well, to answer those questions, we first need to address what a futon actually is.

While it's weird for us to encourage shoppers to stay away from Black Friday, Cyber Monday - and even Small Business Saturday - crowds this year - we do want you to know we are open for business each and every day. We take appointments, we limit store capacity, and we do everything we can to keep you and our team safe - 365 days a year.
